How we can rise to the moment and meet the challenges we face in our world today.
As we face unprecedented challenges in our world and in our work, we’ll hear from leading voices working across climate, digital rights, LGBTQ+ rights and combatting the far right about what we need to do now and how we can rise to meet the moment - as fundraisers, as a sector and as a community.
Ruadhán Ó Críodáin (he/him) is the Executive Director of ShoutOut. Since 2012, ShoutOut has been working to promote inclusion for LGBTQI+ people through storytelling, education, and empathy in schools, workplaces and communities across Ireland. Outside of ShoutOut, Ruadhán is a member of the Board of Directors of GAZE International LGBTQIA+ Film Festival. Ruadhán was an active volunteer in Ireland’s marriage equality and Repeal campaigns in 2015 and 2018, and his work in LGBTQI+ activism is grounded in the grassroots ethos of those movements. His current focus is on promoting the rights of trans and non-binary individuals, alongside those of the broader LGBTQI+ community, through dialogue, coalition-building, and strategies to combat hate.
